Welcome to ASIFA Portland, your local community of animators and animation enthusiasts! With a history in animation that reaches back nearly ninety years, our mossy town is today a hotspot of the art form, known for everything from do-it-yourself independents to big-budget feature filmmaking, plus one world-class animation festival. Simply put, this is a great place to be an animator.

Our local chapter of ASIFA was formed by and for this unique community over thirty years ago. We hold screenings, mixers, workshops and guest lectures. We exchange ideas and resources, both online and in person. We do what we can to boost the art form and our own growing, eclectic animation scene here in the Pacific Northwest.
