I got this ADF scanner pegbar thing nailed down.
Several hundred hours = saved in advance.
Several thousand hours = waiting to be spent drawing… -

That was my logic. I think I’ll experiment with a sheet fed and see what comes of it.
Do you vectorize your images and color them afterward? What’s your process? What software do you use? Alright, so I am currently looking to buy a new scanner to scan in my drawings for my hand drawn animation. I want to be able to scan in and vectorize my drawings, at a fairly fast pace. I don’t know which model is best, but having spent what felt like a million hours on a traditional scanner with a peg bar taped to it, I’d definitely vote for a sheet-fed scanner.

I’m curious.When scanning, I’d just clean each drawing as a bitmap in Photoshop, then composite with After Effects. These days I’m going paperless, drawing w/ a Wacom tablet directly into Toon Boom. So far so good.
