Check out Cartoon Brew’s list. It includes a few big-name sequals (Happy Feet 2, Cars 2, Kung Fu Panda), some classic titles (Tintin, Winnie the Pooh) and a couple of new concepts. Rango looks refreshing. I like that the characters look like flesh-and-blood critters rather than vinyl toys.
But those are some ugly, ugly Smurfs.
Yeah, Rango does look refreshing. Suprisingly gritty, too. Should be good. Not sure about Rio, though. I don’t see anything new or exciting in that one, no matter how pretty it is.
