As Brad Bird points out, the five things to remember when making a film are “story, story, story, storytelling, and story.” So if you’re developing a film project, you may want to get on this. OSNAP (the Open Studio Network Animation Project) is putting on a story session where independent animators can workshop ideas, pitch storyboards, and get/give feedback. The process helps you see and fix story issues long before they become production issues. You may walk out of the session with some inspiration, better structure, better gags, and a generally more solid project. It all starts at 11am on Saturday, June 25th at the Art Institute of Portland. Bring work to show! For more info, check the OSNAP blog at http://osnappdx.blogspot.com/
