On Saturday, May 14th, we’ll be heading uphill to draw the residents at the Oregon Zoo! Bring your own drawing supplies and gather up at 10:45am outside the main gates– off to the right, under the overhang. We’ll get everyone checked off and paid up ($5.00 a head) before purchasing the tickets in a single bunch at 11am. If you’re late, we’ll be glad to have you along, but you’ll have to buy your own ticket at $10.50 a pop. The same goes if you’re not a current ASIFA member, AiPD student, PNCA animation student, or LAIKA staffer. Once inside, we’ll scatter for four hours of drawing whichever animals want the attention. At 3pm, we’ll gather back up at the Zoo Grill to share drawings. The zoo begins shutting down at 4pm, but the grounds stay open till 5pm if you want to stick around!
