I was very skeptical about this movie because the trailers weren’t selling me on yet another Grinch movie, but Illumination’s version of this classic has become my favorite holiday movie! The Grinch is shown in a way that is more personal and you come to understand exactly why he hates Christmas so much. He’s not actually a bad guy at all, just dealing with past traumas. This movie is wonderful, and I haven’t even begun to talk about his genuine love for Max, the adorably spunky Cindy Lou’s family dynamic. This movie is so heartwarming and wholesome and I can’t recommend it enough!
