Lets meet at 10:30am at the Rose Garden gift shop at Washington Park this Saturday, July 9th. Bring a sketchbook with lots of empty pages, whatever pens and pencils you’d like to use, and probably a sack lunch. After gathering, we’ll find a spot to sit and animate in the sunshine or part sunshine, whatever we’re lucky enough to get. Watch this youtube video to see how to go about outdoor animating:

You can provide your own 16:9 cutout frame, but we’ll bring a few extras just in case. Compositing and other post-production stuff will be up to you, but collaborating with others that come to this event would be highly encouraged!
Or, if you’d prefer to wander through the roses and paint and sketch what you find, go ahead and do so! Either way, we hope to see you then.
