Finally, officially, the new ASIFA-Portland website is open for business. We’ve got everything in one place here, including social networking, an events calendar, forums, image galleries, videos, history, and more. With your help, the site will be both a meeting hall and an art gallery, active with discussions, ideas, resources, and general eye candy.
We’ve already moved some media over from the old Ning site, but there’s plenty more good stuff that we didn’t feel right grabbing (i.e., your artwork). If you’d like to move your media from the old site to the new, the galleries here should fatten up nicely. Likewise, if you have images or videos that we haven’t seen before, now would be a great time to post them. For a how-to on uploading media, click the “Forums” tab above.
So poke around the site, post some thoughts, share some pics, fix up your profile, and check back! We’re off and running.
